WMN* | THE FEMALE GAZE

WMN* returns for its second event, curated by Elettra Giunta at Reference Point, 180 The Strand. The evening showcased works by women and non-binary choreographers, filmmakers, and creatives, all centred on the theme of The Female Gaze.

The theme addressed overlooked issues, amplifying visibility, whilst offering new perspectives that deepen our understanding of women's experiences.

Featured work included films by Marissa Velez, Mimi Gehin & Sabrina Wong, Sophie Lowe & Valentina Novakovic, Kate Cox, Shelley Eva Haden, Somayeh , Ella Ezeike, Charlotte Edmonds spoken word by Phoenix Yemi, with movement from Louisa Fernando photography by Nicole Ngai and Jade Ang Jackman, live music from Nina Signorina and a conversation hosted by Maja Klimt
